Asha Kamenge
Chief Operating Officer
Asha Kamenge brings 29 years of international experience in conventional banking, Islamic banking, and fintech startups. With a focus on product innovation and digital transformation, operations management, project and change management, she has spearheaded impactful initiatives that drive economic empowerment in communities. Her previous roles include working for Stanbic Bank Kenya of Standard Bank Group, Prime Bank Africa and most recently Gulf African Bank, a Shariah Complaint bank. Over the years, she has driven industry led initiatives developing strong ecosystem networks in the financial sector.
Asha holds a Master of Arts in Leading Innovation & Change from York St John University. She has completed a Product Innovation & Management Program from Oxford Said Business School Fintech Programme UK and is a Certified Retail Banker from the Retail Banking Academy in the UK. Asha is also a Global Project Management Institute Holder (PMP-ACP)), Safe Agile and Prince 2 Practitioner
Nelly Jerobon
Partner – Legal and Governance
Nelly is a dedicated legal professional with extensive experience in regulatory compliance, technology law, corporate and investment law. Nelly is skilled in building strategic partnerships and leveraging her expertise to drive positive change through collaborative initiatives where she develops corporate and legal strategies for international clients, ensuring regulatory compliance and operational efficiency. She also acts as a Legal Advisor for Everse Technology, advising on legal and regulatory compliance, corporate governance, and risk management. Nelly has also held roles at TripleOKLaw LLP, Bowmans Coulson Harney, Cytonn Investments and Anjarwalla and Khanna Advocates, gaining broad experience across different sectors. She has worked on projects ranging from digitizing business leases to drafting legislation and providing pro bono legal services through the Aletheia Foundation,She has contributed to several legal publications, covering topics such as antitrust, regulatory technology, and public finance management
She holds a Master of Laws (LL.M) in Economic Law and Policy from the European Public Law Organization in Greece and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from Kenyatta University, where she graduated with First Class Honors. Additionally, Nelly is a certified company secretary and mediator and an associate member of the Institute of Arbitrators.

Michael Michie is a thought leader in the technology industry with over a decade of experience. He is the Co-founder of the Non-Profit Nia za Akili Zetu Foundation and Everse Technology, an AI startup working on data privacy and protection. Michael has held notable roles such as CTO of bluBeetle AI and Solv Kenya, as well as Head of IT and Innovation at TripleOKLaw.
His expertise spans cybersecurity, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and digital transformation. In 2019, he was honored as one of Business Daily’s Top 40 under 40 Men for his contributions to digital transformation in the legal sector. Michael actively participates in national AI strategy development and sits on several advisory boards, including the CIO East Africa Fintech Summit Advisory Board. Beyond his professional achievements, Michael is passionate about hyperrealism art, philosophy, and technology advocacy.

Santhosh Mahalingam has had a distinguished career in Banking and ITes Industry for over 27 years, before he decided to don the hat of an entrepreneur.
Over the past decade of his professional life, he has led several leading organisations to digital-first Innovations in the industry. Having demonstrated efficiency and robustness during a seamless transition to remote work during the disruptive pandemic of 2020, he co- founded Mikro Grafeio Services P Ltd, an integrated workspace, workforce & essential solutions provider, focusing on Tier 2/3 towns in India.
Mikro Grafeio’s vision is to empower local economies by bridging the digital divide and providing universal access to entrepreneurial and professional opportunities. Mikro Grafeio intends to extend its presence in over 100+ locations across India in the next 3 years primarily in Tier 2, 3, 4 towns and rural centres
Santhosh is also the co-founder of eCirkle Grassroots Foundation which was formed with a vision to foster sustainable growth and positive social impact for under-served startups in India, prioritizing their interests – by cultivating an inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystem devoid of financial pursuits. The mission of eCirkle is to create a vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem that empowers and enables under-served startups to scale and succeed. It’s a Not-for-Profit endeavour, supporting startups in historically under-served sectors in emerging cities, empowering entrepreneurs to reach their full potential by facilitating client acquisition and Industry specific funding.
Santhosh owns extensive experience in managing senior teams across multi geographies as well as attracting, mentoring and retaining top talents. An accredited executive coach and a Certified NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) Master practitioner, he has built high performance teams in all the organisations he has worked.

His expertise spans credit card operations, strategic business initiatives, and product innovation, cultivated during his tenure with leading financial institutions like ICICI Bank and Standard Chartered Bank. Krish’s deep understanding of the banking ecosystem, coupled with his commitment to innovation, positions him as a trusted advisor to financial organizations navigating the digital age.
